Investigators have flagged immigration firms operating inside some of these colleges, raising serious questions about how students were recruited, enrolled, and connected to taxpayer-funded programs. Some students reportedly couldn't complete a basic interview in English, didn't know what program they were enrolled in, or couldn't explain the courses taxpayers were paying for.

To me, this is insane.

Every dollar taken out of student aid by people gaming the system is a dollar that could have helped a real student actually get an education. And the worst part is that this didn't happen overnight. Concerns were raised as far back as 2023, and it took the story going public before anything was done about it.

Then there's the people who flaunt it. There are individuals showing off their wealth online, allegedly made by exploiting government funding, and even teaching others how to do the same. No shame, no fear of consequences, just bragging about it like it's something to be proud of.

This is about protecting education funding, holding people accountable, and a government that needs to act on problems before they become headlines.

At some point, we have to stop letting people profit off public money while real students are left behind.
